Postage Delays - National & International - Due to Coronavirus

Dear Customers,

Australia Post has announced that there may be delays of approximately 3 days to their Domestic services because of the coronavirus.  

International Orders:  Because of International delivery delays....we’ve decided not to accept International orders until further notice.  Some countries are refusing to accept International mail, and Australia Post has stopped sending mail to many locations.  Attached below is a link to the Australia Post website where you can find more information:

Our processing time will be, as always, between 1 - 3 business days.  

We do our utmost to ensure that your order arrives safely, and for this reason orders are sent with tracking. The more expensive orders also include insurance and require a signature upon delivery. (At the moment Australia Post won’t require signature because of COVID-19 distancing, but will require the parcel recipient to be home.  If there is nobody at home, the parcel will need to be collected from the nearest Post Office).   If the delivery address is to an apartment/multi unit dwelling or to a business address, a signature is required upon delivery. We further record the address and tracking number of all parcels by photographing them as they are passed over the counter and into the hands of Australia Post.

In the event that a signature is not required upon delivery, it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that they have a safe place for deliveries to be left, and this includes a mail box that locks.  We do not accept any responsibility should an item be damaged (i.e., torn up by the family dog) or stolen once it has been delivered. 

If you've paid with PayPal:

If you've paid by PayPal, make sure that the delivery address you've given to us and the PayPal delivery address are exactly the same.  If they are not, neither you nor us will be protected by PayPal buyer and seller protection and we will need to cancel your order, refund your money, and ask you to change the address and order again.

PayPal also has a rule that 2 or more separate orders cannot be sent together in the same parcel.  Each order must be sent separately.

Cleanliness of our products:

We are a 7-year-old home-based, family-operated, online-only business and don't have a storefront/showroom.  Therefore customers do not view or handle products and we can guarantee that your purchase will be sent in new, clean, non-shop-soiled condition.  Our products are only handled by the two of us who own & operate the business...(one of us cuts and processes orders and the other packs and mails them).  

All products are stored in a dark, pest free, pet-free, humidity controlled room. Therefore all products are maintained in a pristine, fresh, brand new and unfaded condition.
